Every Friday afternoon, the cohort gets together for two training sessions. These sessions tend to be interactive, collaborative, challenging and fun.
They are definitely not your normal lecture-style learning.
We have been lucky to learn from some of the brightest minds and most passionate people in the social sector, the commercial world, and experts in professional skills and personal development.
A big thank you from all of us to all trainers for their time, and to Providence Row and City YMCA for hosting our sessions.
Here’s what we’ve been trained on…
Social Sector Knowledge
Exploring the social sector and understanding the key debates, differences and similarities across the range of socially-driven organisations and schools of thought.
Commercial Basics
Learning the fundamentals of business, crucial to managing any organisation.
Professional Skills
Honing transferable skills to enable professional impact to be realised and understanding how to work effectively with others.
Personal Development
Improving self-awareness and clarifying personal and professional ambitions, and developing a better sense of self and others.
A huge thanks to all the trainers for their time…
