She then moved into the Consulting practice focussing on performance improvement, process streamlining and behavioural change. She has advised a broad range of private and public sector clients including Lloyds Bank, Heineken and the NHS.

Placement 1: B Lab UK

  • Business development: Organised B Lab UK briefing events and managed clients through the certification process, including liaising with the B Lab US team and tracking on Salesforce
  • Event management: Project managed the design and organisation of the B Lab UK launch for 600 delegates
  • Process design and implementation: Designed and implemented operational processes including weekly pipeline reporting, invoicing and client pipeline tracking
  • Marketing and Sales materials: Designed UK-centric materials for use at events and online

“Georgie joined B Lab UK when we were a pre-revenue start up, a new movement from abroad being launched in the UK by 3 part-time people, a skeleton team without processes. She was the first (nearly) full time person involved for her six month placement. None of this seemed to bother Georgie, as she immediately sized up the situation and got stuck in. She brought her extraordinary and unusual combination of skills to bear from day one – clarity and structure. Energy and forward momentum. Strategy with implementation. Fun with focus. Leadership with humility and teamwork. But most of all, she brought enormous positivity. I can honestly say that we would not have delivered such a wonderful success without Georgie. She is as high quality a colleague as can be found anywhere. She should be forever proud of what she accomplished during her six months helping the embryonic B Lab UK to launch the B Corp movement in the UK. We will never forget it.”

– James Perry, Coordinator of B Lab UK launch, B Lab UK
