Bio
Prior to joining On Purpose, Faustine worked for 4 years as a political and economic adviser to several politicians in French Parliament and in different local authorities. Her last position in France was as the economic adviser to the President of a French Regional Council, where she supervised quality of design, implementation and delivery of all regional economic development policies, and ensured coordination and negotiation with public and private stakeholders.
Faustine gained a first experience in the social sector as the research officer for Convergences, a think-tank dedicated to innovative partnerships between the public, private and non-profit sectors to alleviate poverty and climate change. As part of On Purpose, she first joined the operations team of a tech-for-good start-up, and then developed her business consultancy and financial modelling skills within a social investment consultancy. She grew a strong interest in the challenges faced by fast-growing social enterprises and charities.
Faustine is an alumni of SciencesPo Paris and the London School of Economics. She holds degrees in political sciences, economic history and development economics. She kept a keen interest in Latin America since studying in a specialised undergraduate programme focused on this region, and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

A little more about me…
The greatest thing I’ve learnt this year thanks to On Purpose: The greatest barriers you face are those you have created yourself. I’ve also learnt how to not only survive but thrive in a start-up!
The most unexpected thing I’ve learnt this year: How to root a Wifi router and solve internet connectivity issues provoked by the magnetic field of fridges in professional kitchens.
The best moment of On Purpose so far: All the time spent chatting, debating, laughing and even singing with the rest of the cohort during training, at the pub, around a fire in a fresh summer night in Devon…
My favourite training session: “How to be a productivity ninja” by Think Productive. I’m putting their tips and advice in practice on a daily basis.
My favourite book / the book that changed me: “Une autre vie est possible” by Jean-Claude Guillebaud: an uplifting and insightful essay on how cynicism has supplanted hope in 21st century Europe and how grassroots’ initiatives can revive it.
